Our RE Vision
At Manor Park CE First School we are committed to providing an enriching experience for children. We strive to enable children to develop their own beliefs and values while respecting and understanding the views and beliefs of others. Children will engage in a high quality, enquiry based RE curriculum that is rooted in discussion and has many opportunities to ask deeper questions. We provide opportunities for children to experience awe and wonder moments through the curriculum and therefore enhance their creativity and imagination.

In our school we follow ‘Discovery RE’ and ‘Understanding Christianity’, which are both enquiry based programmes of study with deep questions at its heart. We believe these two carefully chosen programmes compliment each other, enabling children to develop into both reflective and independent individuals. The knowledge of different religions including Christianity is acquired progressively as they move through our school.
